MUMBAI: Superstar Hrithik Roshan has splashed out a shade under Rs 100 crore for two apartments spread over three floors on the Juhu-Versova Link Road. One of the two apartments is a penthouse with which the actor, who will be seen next on the big screen in his family’s super-hero franchise Krrish, is likely to integrate the other.
While the apartments aren’t quite the Iron Man Tony Stark’s sea cliff house, they are together spread across 38,000 sq ft – that is forty-six 800 sq ft flats — and offer an uninterrupted view of the Arabian Sea. The apartments come with a 6,500 sq ft open-to-the-sky terrace and an exclusive lift. The Roshans will also have access to ten parking slots in the building.
The building in which this mansion-in-the-air is located is called Mannat and the deal, worth Rs 97.50 crore to be precise, was closed on Thursday.
Property documents accessed by Mumbai Mirror reveal that the actor carried out two different registrations with the builder Samir Bhojwani – one for the duplex and the other for the second apartment. He paid Rs 67.50 crore for the duplex, which is spread over 27,534.85 sq ft on the 15th and 16th floors of the building. For the other apartment, that measures 11,165.82 sq ft on the 14th floor, Hrithik paid Rs 30 crore. He paid a stamp duty of Rs 1.95 crore for the registration of the apartments.
Bhojwani’s representative refused to comment on the sale, but a broker from Bandra, who was privy to the deal, said Hrithik had finalised the purchase almost a month ago.
The Roshans in June 2020 rented an apartment in Juhu’s Prime Beach building at Rs 8.25 lakh-a-month. A message sent to the actor’s public relations manager yielded no response.
